There is a large attendance. Following are the results up to our going to press : Stewards Stakes. —Queen’s Guard 1, Halbadier 2, Gipsy Queen 8. Race an upset. Halbadier led all the way till just on post a piece of paper blew on his nose, which caused him to stop suddenly and allowed Queen’s Guard to pass him. Divs., £2 10s 6d and £1 9s. First Handicap Hurdles, —Royal Conqueror 1, Tokatea 2, Waiwera 8. Aquinaldo fell half a mile from home. Divs., £6 4s and 17s. Hack Hurdles— Cla r ion 1, Omprah 2, Bones 3. Diva , £7 14s 6d and £2 4s. Cup,— Nonette 1, Tortulla 2, Beddington 3. All started. Grand race, together all the way.
