The Greta Colliery N. S. Wales, is on fire, and five men have been entombed. The names of the men are Brick, Fuller, Hislop, John Crowell and Fred Crowell. An attempt was made to rescue them but the rescuers were driven back by heat and smoke. Hope of reaching them is now abandoned. All attempts to rescue the men having failed, and as the fire is spreading rapidly the colliery has been closed down.
