Mr C. J. Wa»kins, residing at Stratford, came to the colony 15 years ago, and having had the worry and anxiety of personal^ conducting a 8 ore for many yeara, can speak of a etorekeepers life. •«For many years," said MrWatkms to the reporter who called upon {vide the Wanganui Herald), "continuous wet wetflher and the worries of business first weakened my constitution. I Buffered greatly from acute rheumatism and sciatica. The muscles of my army contracted and ached night and day. The sharp shooting nains of sciatica in my legs gave me no respite, and I often thus lost a night's al«ep I w»8 laid up for four monthß at a t : me, and could not obtain a remedy.
