Wellington Wool and Skin Sales. 4 Messrs Levin & Co. report: — We offered to-day 15 bales of wool and I 1250 skins. The cable advices from London that all classes of wool had fallen further had its effect upon the market, and buyers were only prepared to operate at a drop of half-penny per Ib on skins. Growers must look to a continuance of low range of prices unless the London sales now on show some improvement in the price of crossbred wool. We quote — Good crossbred skins, 4^d to 4£d ; medium, 3fd to 4d ; dead skins, 3sd to 3^d ; crutchings, ssd to 3^d ; stragglers' .fleece, 4d to 4£d. Wellington, 12th Oct., 1900.
