Wedding.

LAWTON— COLEY. Yesterday a very pretty wedding was solemnized at All Saints' Church by the Rev. Hugh Leach, the contracting parties being Frank Lawton, the second mate of the s.s. Himatangi, and Matilda May, the second daughter of Mr Henry Coley, Flaxmiller, of this town. The church was decorated and the service was a choral one, Mrs England presiding at the organ. When the wedding party left the church the organist played the Wedding March. The bride, who looked very charming, was dressed in a cream silk striped cashmere dress, trimmed with lace and pearls. She wore the usual veil and wreath. The bridesmaids were the sister of the bride (Edith), and bridegroom (Ethel), and were dressed in slate grey lustre dresses, trimmed with satin, and wore white felt hats. " Mr Henry Coley gave his daughter away. The best man was Mr Charles Lawton, brother of the bridegroom. The church was crowded, and very much interest was shown in the ceremony. The friends of the family were entertained at breakfast. The young couple will reside in Wellington. The best wishes for the future welfare were showered upon them., in which we desire to join. The presents were numerous, ornamental and U6efnl. A dance was held at the house in the evening.
