British Elections.
The following is the result of the polling up to date : — Conservatives 154 Liberal Unionists ... 24 Liberals 35 Nationalists 20 The Conservatives have gained six seats, and the Liberals seven, all the latter being Imperialists. The Conservatives secured greatly increased majorities in London, Manchester, Salford. At East Manchester. Balfour's majority was 2453.
