Palmerston wired this morning — Very heavy rain during night. Weather still unsettled. Every indication of flood. Feilding — All rivers in this district in heavy flood. Captain Edwin wires to-day : — \V. and S.W. and S. gale. Glass rise, and weather colder. Tides high. Sea heavy, strong ebb tides in Straits.
