FLAX ASSOCIATION MEETING.

TO THE EDITOII OP THE MANAWATtJ HEBALD,

Sir, — The Millers' Association met on the 4th instant to receive a re« port from their delegate to Manila, and though it was a lenghty one it mentioned nothing about the opportunities ot opening up a trade with any new market. Now sir, as a miller, who has contributed his portion towards the expenses I should be glad to know publicly from the delegate if he has not sent a sample shipment to some port about which he made no mention to the Association ? If he has, I consider the Association is entitled to the information. I am, &c, Miller. Sept. 6th. 1900.
