Wellington Wool and Skin Sales.
Messrs Levin & Co. report : — At our usual fortnightly sale we offered about 40 bales oi wool and 1250 sheepskins. Prices were much the same as recently but full-woolled skins were quite £d per lb dearer. We quote as follows : — Wool : Stragglers fleece, 4d to 3d per lb ; crutchings, fine, 3^d to 3^d; medium, 3d to 3^d ; coarse, 2;} dto 3d.
Sheepskins : Full-woolled crossbred, 4Jd to 5<3 ; half-wool crossbred, 4d to 4^d ; dead skins, 3^d to 3^d ; pelts, id to is 6d each ; various skins, 4-Jd to 5d per lb. Wellington, August 17th, 1900.
