THE REP. TEAM.
The practice match between the A and B teams took place on Wednesday afternoon at Levin. A number of the players of both teams failed to put in an appearance, but several local men filled the ranks, and a game was played. At the conclusion of the match, the selection committee (olessrs Mclntyre and H. Bright) selected the following team to represent the Horowhenua County in their match against the Wellington junior reps., on the 25th inst. : — Full-back, Furrie, f Allan, S. Cootes, Winiata, f Uma, £ Whata, wings Ostler (captain), Aldridge, forwards, Wingate, Brown, W. Wilson, Keating, Smith, Johnson, Be van. Emergencies, Hughes, Hitchings, Tatana, C. Wilson, J. Smith, Tahuri, Utiku.
