Great Gold Discovery.
A sensational gold discovery has been made at Long Flat, near Gundagai, on the Murrumbidgee, 289 miles south-west of Sydney. Pieces of gold as large as lemons, coated with oxide of iron, have been found, many of the pieces weighing up to three-quarters of a pound troy. Fully two thousand ounces have been obtainad.
