Foxton School Committee.

♦ The usual meeting was held on Tuesday evening and ordinary business transited. An application was received from the Rev. H. S. Leach to give religous instruction to children whose parents wish it, after school hours. The matter was discussed and it was resolved to hold the matter over for a month. The committee passed a most hearty vote of thanks to all the friends who had so generously given donations to the prize fund, the children appreciated very much the cake and lemonade provided for them, and no doubt the innovation of giving some* thing to all the children will be kept in future years.
