OLLIVIER'S FORCES. It is officially announced that Commandant Ollivier commands 1600 men, occupying a position between Harrismith and Newmarketrand. Commandant Ollivier claims that he is not bound by Commandant Primsloo's surrender, and intends to continue the war. SOFTNOSED BULLETS. General Hamilton captured 17 Boers at Maghefberg. They declared that they received only softnosed bullets, and in consequence the wounds received by the British during the fight were serious.
