The St. George Company.
m, After an absence of a little over a year this clever company appear again in this town for a season of three nights. Many novelties have been obtained by Mr St. George since his last visit, and the entertainments provided by him should be excellent ones. We have noticed from our exchanger, that the performances given have been well patronised and highly spoken of. The Evening Post, in its notice : says :_»» Undoubtedly the main features and probably the chief attractions a* the Opnra House last night were tho contribitioisof the Happy St. George's who occupied the stage during the whole of the second part of the entertainment. Mr St. George's means of entertaining seem to be almost inex haustibb. He possesses a splendid voice, tells a good story, and seems to | have the happy knack of bringing music out of any instrument he touches. Miss St. George's serpentine dance, introducing 143 yards of silk, under the limelight, was a really clever performance and vociferously encored, j The duo items, " Society Sketch," " Naming the Baby," and " Flirtation," proved the St. George's to be drawingroom entertainers of a refined and distinctly interesting character."
