Foxton Football Club.
» A meeting of the above Club was held at Mr Hunter's Hotel on Thursday evening at 8 o'clock, Mr L. Furrie in the chair. The minutes of the last meeting were read and confirmed. The correspondence was read. Resolved that the tender of Mr Stubb's for jerseys be accepted at 6s each, and that the secretary be instructed to order twenty, and to procure 15 as soon as possible. Resolved that the ground be mown, pnd the secretary interview Mr Spelman to have same done. Resolved that the challenge from Mr Tos's Crown mill to play a match be accepted. Names were given in of players who would play in the •match, and after considering other minor matters- the meeting adjourned with a vote of thanks to the chair and to Mr Hunter.
