Francis Greaney was charged with drunkenness, and was dismissed.
Arthur Birkly was charged with being drunk in charge of a horse ; with furious riding ; with wilful damage to a constable's uniform, and was convicted and fined 20s, or in default 3 day's hard labour for the first oftence; fined ss, costs ss, ill default 3 day's hard labour on the second charge ; and was fined ss, costs ss, and to pay 8s 6d damage, or 3 day's , hard labour. Sentences to be cumula-
tive,
James O'Brien for drunkenness, was fined 20s, in default 24 hour's imprisonment.
James O'Brien for using obscene langnage, pleaded guilty, and was sentenceJ to 14 day's hard labour. Henry Adams for the theft of a pair of trousers, was convicted and sentenced to 14 day's hard labour.
