SECOND DAY.
I — ■: M What has been said of the fti:fii day can be but repeated for tbowcond day. The Foxton Racing ['ssf.\ was equally fortunate in the weath:n\ as the rain on Saturday nigMiiw Sunday much improved the |jiw|lc|ji6 r and after seven' o'clock offjlppiijy; morning the rain ceased and the sitici: shone out. The attendance Wiai larger than on Saturday, but fl^ii?' 1 people came by train to whaiwwef expected. Those who enjoy raoibag; and indulge in speculation oin tte : totalisator were present, as £&0!4 was put through the machine, w^j ing a total for the two days of Jff JUto being an amount of £ 876 more tltp f! was invested at the meeting last yw. : The day's racing was again maicM ■!; by good fields, close racing, and «a| absence of disputes or protests. i ; The running of the horse Betaffi was made a subject of inquiry bj'th6i : Stewards, and it was shown thafc ti»j horse was a rogue and could not lie depended on, so that the Stewffiicjilp! decided to accept the owners* explifi-; nation. It appears, however, thitii such an uncertain running lio»e should be kept clear of a course,, w his conduct incites suspicion as (to the bona' fides of his owner and foekey, which may lead themvmU) an unpleasant position by 3D^3& judges. We think that everybody thoroughly enjoyed themselves, and fc!ji«
excellent name this Club has secured for itself will be increased by the conduct of this meeting. The Club will come out considerably on the right side of the ledger on all accounts being settled.

For Bronchial Coughs take Woods' Great Peppermint Cure, 1/6 2/6. Persons troubled with diarrhoea will be interested in the experience of Mr W. M. Bush, clerk of Hotel Dorrance, Providence, R.I. He says : " For several years I have been almost a constant sufferer from diarrhoea, the frequent attacks completely prostrating me and rendering me unfit for my duties at this hotel. About two years ago a travelling salesman kindly, gave me a small bottle of Chamberlain's Colic, Cholera and Diarrhoea Remedy. Much to my surprise and delight its effects were immediate. Whenever I felt symploms of the disease I would fortify myself against the attack with a few doses of this valuable remedy. The result has been very satisfactory and almost complete relief from the affliction." For sale by W. Hamer, Chemist, Foxton.
