EFFECTS OF OPEN AIR WOBK
There ara veterans in ever? walk of life. It is gpneral'y the veteran soldier or statesmen who i 3 interviewed 1 To-day we interview a veteran horticulturist (s*y the Otaki Mail), and we do not think his experiences are les 1 interesting to readers than the experiencs of those occupying a more public position. Me Evan Evans, the subject of our sketch, is an able bodied man, 55 years of age, and has charge of the horticultural operations of Mr Percy Gillies, gentleman of Te Horo (N.Z.) "We propose. Mr Evans," said our representative, " to interview you regarding your work and experiences." " We'l," said Mr Evans, " my experiences are at your service. Oat-door work I certainly has a healthy influence opon individuals, but the occasional exposure to wind and wet is unpleasant and distressing. It is owing to exposure that I have been troubled with rheumatism for 30 years, In July last it turned to rheumatic sciatica. The pain commenced in the left hip joint and soon spread to the feet. The pa'ma were hot, shooting, stabbing pains, and made me tiiink I was being flayed alive ; T thought I shouid go mad. Pr^vious'y my joints had ached with rheumatism, bat the pain hart never been so acute. Daring A\ first week of the rheumatic «-oiatica I ba..l to abandon wo k, and when I left my bed I -as hardly fit for anything. *? eep was impossib'e. T would lie moaning and crying in agony ! Liniments, ointm ntfl, an/1 plasters were tried, but only temporary good resulted. My condition became worse and worse and I grew so weak that I could not pr c«ed to the Rotorna hot springs. w ich I thought might have improved me. Mv leff foot was partially paralysed and I was suffering great agony, when a friend showed me a pamphlet, in which a .man told how he had been oared of my complaint by Dr Williams pink pills for pale people. I sent to Wellington for six boxes and commenced taking their contents in accordance with directions. When I had finished four boxe3, I noticed a marked improvement. Lat r on I purchaspd another supply and continued with them until cured. I have no hesitation in saying 'hat Dr Williams' pink pills completely cured me of the most acute rheumatic sciatica a man could experience. For tho ast six months I have been exceptionally strong and healthy, and have not felt even one twinga of pain. I have a good appetite and sleep well, and am certain my cure is permanent. The partial paralysis in my left foot has also gone, and I can now u'. it without difficuliy. My case has bee/. << complicated one, bat .Dr Wil iams' pink pills proved mo c than equal to it." To every part of the world hundreds of oases of rheumatism, sciatica, neuralgia, St Vitus' dance, locomotor atixia. rickets, eozeman, after effects of influenza, measles.
and rheumatic fever, irregularities, loss of man!)' Gtrength, etc. have been cured by Dr Williams' pink pills for pale people.
