Wellington Woo! and Skin Sales.
Messrs Levin & Co. report:— We offered 35 bales of wool and 1300 skins to-day. The wool comprised sundry small lots which arrived too late for the sale held last Friday, and these were quitted at prices equal to those ruling at the larger sale. Skins showed a rise, all classes of crossbreds were up quite a halfpenny. We quote below for full-wool skins :— Merinos, B£d to gd ; Half-bred, 7sd to 8d ; Fine crossbred, 6d to 6id ; Medium, 5d to s|d ; Dead, 4 £d to^d. Wellington, 15th December, 1899.
