Great Drapery Sale.
• I Now that the excitement, what little there was, of the election, is past and gone, we desire to draw the attention of our readers to the fact that on Monday and Tuesday next Mr Byron Brown, the well-known auctioneer of Otaki, will sell by public auction in those premises adjoining Mr W. B/ Rhodes' store, a very large consignment of general drapery, absolitteLjt" without reserve. Not only will MF Brown sell by auction by day, but he will have the premises open' in the evening when he will be open to deal privately. It is evident that the anc-^y tioneer is not afraid of a critical ex- "f aminaiion of his goods, and thus establishes the truth of his assertion that " all good stuff, no rubbish," is much more than a mere figure of speech. He requests all to "come and see for yourselves, " and as this is the soundest advice we cannot do better than to reiterate it.
