In Bankruptcy.
A meeting of creditors in the estate of J. S. Ennes, tailor Foxton, was held this afternoon. Two credit tors (H. G. Schlaadt and C. H. Dickerson) were represented by __. E. Philps. No other creditors were present. According to his written state. ment, debtor commenced business at Foxton in April 1899. His total accounts at that time were about £27 7a 2d, but he had no as*tK Had not been in business long when he was pushed by his creditor?, and in consfquence made, them an offer Avhich Messra Bing, Harris and Co. would not accppt. Debtor's caeh receipts from the timp of commencing business were £68 12-», and he had paid in cash £50 This did not include household expenses. Debtor attributed his bankruptcy to want nf work.
