Information has been received that Major-General Sir W. P. Symon.^ has succumbed to 11k wounds he received at the battle of G'encoe last week
Immediately the melancholy news was received by the War Office it was announced in ;he Hou«e of Ci>ua mons. All of the memb.:^ \mcovered as a signal of respect to the memory of the dead soldier.
