Two good feeders are wanted at the Bridge Mill. Mr B. Spelman has been elected Councillor in the room of Mr A. S. Easton, who resigned his office. A general meeting of the Foxton Cycling Club is convened for Tuesday next at the Victoria Hall. To-morrow evening the Rev. W. Woollass will give a special sermon at the Methodist Church to young men. Two steamers are to run to Melbourne on account of the Imperial Government for the regular transport of supplies of fodder and food stuffs to South Africa.
