Pukenui Horse Sale.

\ Yesterday there was a very large attendance at Mr Bull's sale of horses at the homestead, Pukenui, by Messrs Gorton and Son. A cupital lunch was provided and the bidding very brisk, good prices being realised :— 3 yr unbroken draughts -27, 38, 28f, 80$, 34$ guineas. 2 yr unbroken draughts — 16, 25, 18, 26£, 30$ (purchased by Con Sullivan,) 20 $, 21$, 26, 80$, 21$ guineas. Yearling draughts-H}, 10, 10£, l&h 17, 11$ (and a colt 20$ guineas), 15f, 155,15,22 i, 17£ (yearling hack) 6 guinea?. Ucbroken hacks — Syr gelding 10$, do 8J ; 2yr Bs, do 7f . do 9 ; Syr 12$ ; 4yr 14£ guineas. (This last horse in getting out of the yard broka away from the boy and gal loped about and fell dead.) Draught*, broken— 4yr 85, 9yr gelding 86$, syr 29£, 6yr 80$. 6yr 40£, 4yr 30$, lOyr 36, 9yr 42, aged 395, lOyr 30J, 4yr mare 55 guineas. A^ed brood mares stinted to hnr3e —265, 27-16, 19$, 26, 24, 20, 15$, 31, 80$, 19 guineas. Aged hack mares— 4s, 10J, 8, 2f . 4$ guineas. Hosken Brosi draughts subject to week's trial— Syr gelding 81. 6yr gelding 475, 6yr 465. 6yr 40.V, syr 40, 4yr 395, 6yr 52f , aged mare 255, 6yv old gelding 45£, 8»r old mire 355, Byr old gelding 40$, 6yr old gelding 40 guineas, Three aged trap horses were passed in but sold privately.
