A Woman Was to Blame.
It is surprising how eager men are to saddle women with all blame. S j frequently is this dove, that " A woman was at the bottom of if," has passed into a phrase of every day usage. If you ask men for instanc<}3 of woman's wrong-doing, they will' tell you how Adam was tempted by Eve, how Tarpeia betrayed Rome to the Sabines, how Helen caused the siege of Troy, of the results of Cleopatra's intrigues with Ceesav and Antony, and so on. But they never te.l you of the wise actions which women have performed. Sure'y Miss May Graham, of 99, York street West, -South Melbourne, was not to blame when, by taking Bile Beans for Biliousness, she cured herse f of a most acute attack of dyspepsia. Here is what she told a rep rter of the Melbourne It-cord :— •' For three years I suffered great y from dyspepsia. I had frequent and fearful attacks of ueura gta in tha face which caused nic agony for weeks at a time. All fo^d disagreed with me. I grew li=t!ess and melancho y. I spend six months in South Gip island for a ch^jpge, but I got no b neflt from it. 1 returned to Melbourne, and became pale and sallow. I gave up hope of recovery. One day my brother brought me a box of Bile Beans. I commenced to take them, and in a short time fj t decidedly better. Continuing with the Bans, I was restored to perfect hea : th. I cannot ten strongly express my gratitude for the good done me." The cost of Bile Beans is only thirteen pence halfpenny per box, and as all chemists and storekeepers sail them, no one should be without a boxIn the face of Miss Graham's story, it cannot, be said ihat this lady was to blame for having acted so wisely as her narrative describes.
