The Ohau Poisoning Case.
On Tuesday the Justices at Levin dismissed the charge against Sarah Giles for an attempt to murder Mrs Mary West in the following manner ; — " That Mrs West got the poison at Mrs Giles's house appears to be a fair dednction from the evidence and the finding of a trace of arsenic in a towel hanging behind a door in Mrs Giles's houae strengthens this cpnelusion. No evidence has, however, been adduced to proved that Mrs Giles had any motive to lead her to administer poison to Mk West, nor is there any evidence to show that she administered any poison. We therefore do not find a priifla facie case made, and dismiss the charge."
