(from our own correspondent.) The members of the Taikorea Crick' t Club held their annual meeting on Saturday, 23rd inst. The balancesheet showed a credit balance of £1 6s gd. The following gentlemen were elected office bearers :— President, R. Boswell (re-elected) ; Vice-presidents, Messrs F. Robinson, J. R. McLennan, and T. Clark (all re-elected) ; Captain, W. F. Stansell (re-elected); Vicecaptain, S. Penny ; Hon. Sec. &Treas., W. F. Stanseli (re-elected) ; Match Committee, Messrs Harper, Bowater, Boswell and Sec. ; Ground Committee, Messrs Boswell, Harper, Grumwald, '
Green, W. Mathers and Sec. It was decided to open the season with a scratch match Married v. Single on Saturday, 30th inst. The Glen Oroua Dairy Factory is to be opened at the beginning of next month. It promises to be a great success. The directors have received an offer of o,£d per lb delivered in Wellington. This will enable them to give a fair price for the cream.
