The federation referendum wataken in Victoria on Thursday, and the results so far to hand show thai there is a great majority in favour oi the Commonwealth Bill. The latest returns are as follows :— Votes. Yes 116,616 No 7,888 Majority ... 108,278 The returns to hand for the feredation referendum in Tasmania give the following figures : — Votes. Yea 11,100 No 720 Majority ... 10,880
