Cablegrams received from Capetown to day confirm the report? previously current that Mr Kcuger has resigned tha Presidency of thfSouth African Republic.
It is believed that Mr Kruger wil> withdraw his resignation, and tha' his amicable relations with th Executive and the Volksraads will be resumed*
The statement; is made that Mr Kruger wished to buy out the holders of the dynamite monopoly.
The British High Commissioner (Sic Alfred Milner) had declared that the imputation case upon the Premier (Mr Schreiner) in cnnsrquenca of hh "Festina lenfce " telegram to M? Kroger is unjust.
The men who were committed for trial on a charge of enlisting troop? for service against the Transvaal have taiin released, the charge of inciting to riot, on which they were to have been indicted, having been abandoned.
