Stock Market.
Messrs Freeman R. Jackson and Co., in conjunction with Messrs Abraham and Williams, report as to their last Johnsonville stock sale as follows : — The weather was probaby the worst on which we have ever attempted to hold a sale. Cattle were in average supply and sold freely. Prime quality made 16s to 17s ; an occasional pen ran up to 18s. There was a short supply of sheep, and those forward fully maintained lart week's
values. We quote — Prime heavy bullocks, £7 15s to £8 7s 6d ; medium weights, £6 2s 6d to £j 2s 6d. Sheep — Best ewes, us 76. to 12s 3d ; others 10s iod to us 3d ; medium ewes small us 1 id; best wethers, 14s id to 14s » iod ; light do, 12s 6d.
