General Brugere haa succeeded General Zurlinden as Military Governor of Paris. General Zurlinden baa been appointed to the command of the army force of 18,000 men at Bordeaux.
The Government baa ordered inquiry to be made into the treat* ment of Drayfue on Devil's Island French Guiana.
