Myers Sentenced to Three Years.

The jury were unable to agree in the third charge against Myers, and were discharged. : - > The Crown intimated they would not go any further with the cases. In answer to the usual question accused attributed his position entirely to gambling transactions, which began when very young, and involved him in a web of difficulties, from which he could never extricate himself.

He was sentenced to three years on each charge, sentences to be concurrent.
