(fully investigated by the Adelaide Advertiser.) Mrs. M. E. At that time I was laid up for eight-en week«, and the illness has recurred to me every year regularly since that time until two years ago, when I had a very bad attack. At the same time I had diabetes (a form of Brian's disease) and hemorrhage of the lungs. I went into the Adelaide Hospital to be treated for the diabetes, an 1 whilst in the institution the hemorrhage of t c lungs and the rheumatism came on. I remained in (he hospital from Ihe 29th August until about a fortnight before Chr'stmas. when I left—unoured, and, in fact, not. a tit better thau , when I wvnt in. I could not have been worse and be aHve. I was so weak that I had to be lifted out of ih* cab which brought me from the hospital. Two or three days after leaving the hospital 1 had a very severe attack of rheumatism. I was attended by two doctors, and th'-y v form d me that I had Bright,^ disca^o, which, they said, had been brought on by the attacks of rheumatism. All the doc ors who attended me— including one at the AcV'laicii Hoppita' — iaformed me that my case was hopeless. My symptoms were : Pains in the sma'l of the back,- a dry, parched tongu°. I did not know wha' it was after August, 1897, to have a g iod ni»ht's sleep, and a weak and languid fee ing. I continued in this condition uu:il the first week in September, 1898. when I was advisfd by many friends to try : Bile Beans. I decided to do so, and according y purchased a box at Mr Rowe's, the chemist, at Port Adelaide. After I had taken three or four doses I felt an improvement in my
health. My appetite became rttore natural, and I could sleep bettor, and the pains in the small of the back began to disappear. Afier I had taken the contents of half-a-dozen boxes, the pains disappear.- d entire'y, and I felt an improvement in every respect. I may state that I now do all my housework and washing without any troub c, and life is worth living. I attribute the whole of ray cure to Bile Beans, and they deserve every credit. The n»:ghbours can bear out the truth of my statements. lam doing all I can to induce others to take the Beans."
