Mail news brought by the Vancouver steamer Aorangi brings particular!? of a mystery of the sea which has come under public notice. ~ -- Lately an open boat containing the remains of nine m«n drifted ashore at Corinto, on the coast of Central America.

The victims had apparently been dead for months. Their bodies were terribly emaciated and distorted, and there was not a particle of food or water in the boat.
