The Soudan.
Ly.cl Kitchener, Sirdar of the Egyptian Army, recently sant [brahim Pasha aa an envoy to his uncle the Sultan of Darfur with an escort of 150 men.
Upon arriving Ibrahim found that his uncle bad baen dethroned.
An engagement ensuad between the escort and the followers of Aldhina, the usurper.
In the fight 130 men of Ibrahim's force were killed. The remainder had to take refuge in flight, and have reached Khartoum safely.
