MANAWATU AUTUMN MEETING.

The first day's races of the autumn meeting of the above Club took place yesterday on the Palmerston racecourse. The selections contributed by the different bands were greatly appreciated and added considerably to the attraction of the meeting. The sky was cloudy and a strong wind was blowing.
