Foxton Cycling Club.
I ♦ ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING. The second annual general meeting of the Foxton Cycling Club was held : at Mr Mitchell's office on Monday last when there was a medium attendance of members. ■ Mr P. Hennessy was voted to the j chair. The minutes of the last annual meeting were read and confirmed. The secretary's report was read and [ adopted, excepting the recommenda--1 tion that the annual sports be held on St. Patrick's Day. A vote of thanks was tendered to the late secretary (Mr C. T. Austin), for his past services and for his very able report. It was resolved that the next cycle sports be held on Easter Monday next, subject to this date not clashing with any other cycle sports meeting withiT twenty-four miles of Foxton. s The following officers were elected' i for the ensuing year : — Patron:— F. Robinson, Esq. (reelected). H President :— John Stevens, Esq., M.H.R. (re-elected.) Vice-presidents :— Alf. Fraser, Esq. ' Mayor ; W. Robinson, Esq. Captain : — Mr O. Austin. Vice-captain : — Mr W. Howan. Secretary and Treasurer :— Mr T4l Dunckley. Jr Committee :— Messrs W. Mac De- ; mott, H. Austin, J. F. Overend, H. Bradcock and A. C. Stansell. Seven new members were elected. A vote of thanks to the outgoing officers for their past services, and to the chairman for presiding, also to Mr Mitchell for the use of his office, concluded the proceedings. ■'
