While the Commandants in Pretoria were disoassing the advisableness of resuming military operations against the rebel chief ftfefu, one of them, Major Erasmus, declared that tne Transvaal artillery compared favourable with that of any of the European Powers.
President Eruger has appointed a commission to inquire into the charges against (he police of brutality towards the Gapa Native Corps.
