The Payne Family.
To-night at the Public Hall the. P.iyne Family of Musicians wilF mike their reappearance, after an absence of a few years. To all who h*ve seen and heard them before it i j unnecessary to say " go and hear them " because they would not miss -moh a treat, to those who have not been at one of these entertainments, all we can say is " be sore to go." [ Thi company consists of Vocalists,^* Violinistes, Mandolinistes Pianistra, * Flautist, Sleigh Bella, Brass Drum, Side Dram, Polka Bella, Cymbal?, Triangle. Mr Payne, who has just lately retured from England, has brought with him an entirely new full set of Hind B^lla (75), also a set of Sleigh B.<IU (16 strings). These two sets of Bells have been specially cast for him by Messrs Warner & Bone, London, under the personal super-^ vision of Mr Payne, and, for a pare, Hiivpry, mallow tone are considered the finest in the world. He has aleo brought out a aovelty in playing six
instruments at one time. While seated in a chair playing a flute he manipulates with his feet the Brass Drum, Polka Bells, Cymbals and Triangle, the whole forming a little orchestra in itself.
