« Germany has forwarded a frigid note informing the Vatican of the protectorate over the Christiana in the East. The Berlin correspondent of the Times wires that there is growing friction between the German States and Prussia from a variety of causes. The appointment is suggested of a German Minister enjoying the Chancellor's confidence, to co-operate with all the monarchs, who shall be an3werabie to Parliament.
