The Manawatu A. & P. Association.
The thirteenth annual Show was held on Wednesday and Thursday and was the best of the series. The entries of stock were largo, and im- - plements and machinery and vehicles Urger than have ever been shown. Wednesday was very windy bat th«U|g rain held off, and there must have been an attendance of between 4000 and 5000. During the afternoon
r the Premier accompanied by hie daughter, paid the Show a visit and was attended by the Officials of the Association. Thursday was un fortunately a very bad day, being windy with very heavy showere. The weather did not prevent people going to the Show as 850 left Foxton station, and there is said to have been 18,000 on the ground. The Association has a splendid ground which was in capital order and all the arrangements appeared to be excellent. The various Stewards carried out their duties in a quiet and methodical manner, and with the large membership, over 1100, the Association seems to be bound to stay and prosper.
