To-morrow the body will be conveyed in the morning to St. - Mary o Church where Mass will be \ said at ii a.m., and at half past two i o'clocl. in the afternoon the funeral ' will leave the church for the cemetery. < The deceased's age accounts for the ! likelihood of parting at any time, but he was in usual health until a few hours before his death when he must have broken a blood vessel as he threw up a quantity of blood. The deceased during his last moments was attended by Father Mallard, who administered the last rites of the church. We tender our sympathy to the relations of the deceased. The Blind Musicians appeared at the Foxton Public Hall on Thursday evening last and gave a very success* ful concert and entertainment. . The hall was filled, and all the items rendered were much enjoyed. A practical exhibition of the quantity of whitebait procurable , in the river was afforded on Thursday when two and a half tons of those delicious fish were sent away by the afternoon train. The longest underground thoroughfare in Great Britain is in Central Derbyshire, where you can walk 7 miles upon a road connecting several coal mines.
