Last Night's Dance.

Miss Hilda Collins gave a wind-up dance to her pupils and their friends at the Public Hall last night. The attendance was large, there being close on ioo children present besides their parents. Dancing was kept up to 1 1 o'clock. Everyone appeared to be enjoying themselves, and many of the pupils attended in fancy dress which helped to fijU in the picture. Refreshments were handed round during the evening- Of course the superintendence of everything fell upon Miss Miss Hilda Collins, and she is to be congratulated on the success she achieved, but she was ably helped at the piano by Mrs James Symons and the Misses P. Collins, G. Hamer, and L. Symons. We append a list of the fancy dresses worn.

Blake, Sailor Girl; M. Rhodes, Red, White and Blue; M. Dunckley, Ireland. Boys: P. Wright, Knave of Hearts; J. Wright, Jack the Giant Killer; A. Imrie, Sailor Boy; M. Cook, Sailor Boy.
