COMMITTEE MEETING.
A committee meeting of the above was held on Thursday evening at Whyte's Hotel. Present — Messrs J. H. Howan (in the chair), J. F. Overend, B. G. Gower and W. MacDermott. The minutes of the last meeting were read and confirmed. Proposed by J. Howan, second^} by J. F. Overend, That the foilowmg new members be elected :— rMessrs H. Border, A. Heasman, W. Baker, G. Chuck, G. Gray, A. Langley, H. Bradcock, H. Blake, J. B. Imrie, T. Nye, A. Shadbolt, C. Symons, and J. Warnock/ Carried. • = Proposed by j. Howan, seconded by J. F. Overend, That the Secretary write to Mr Baucham and ascertain what price he will make 12 sculls delivered at Foxton. Carried.
