M. Delcasse, the French Minister for Foreign Affairs, has been allowed! by General Eitohener to communicate with Major Marchand by means of a British gunboat. Captain Marchand declared that he was obeying the express ordiuffof his Government in proceedn^co Fashoda. He had not received news for some months. He has been promised snpplies of ammunition, but had not received them. Tbe Soudanese troops have been ordered to Fashoda and Sobat against all comers. Msjor-Genaral Hunter has estab* lished posts on the Blue Nile as for as Senaar.
