A PEERAGE FOR THE SIRDAR.
General Kitchener has been created a Peer. In reply to the congratulations of the Lord Mayor of London upon his victories, General Kitchener telegrpabed that he hoped the opening up of these extensive countries would benefit the City of London and British commerce generally.
