'Police v. Alfred Kemp, for suffering a chimney occupied by him to catch fire on the 24th August. The accused pleaded guilty and was fined is, and costs 7s-. Police v. Thomas.B etty, for having on the 10th September ridden a bicycle on the footpath in the Avenue. The accused pleaded guilty, and it being the first offence . under the new by-laws, the Bench simply convicted and discharged the accused.
CIVIL
Thomas Westwood v. Martin Williamson. Claim, £2 ios sd. No appearance of defendant. Judgment by default for amount and costs, 6s.
J. T. Ray v. Hans Andreson. Claim, 17s 1 id. Case adjourned to next Court.
