MOROCCO.
Lord Salisbury has notified the Powers that the southern boundary of the Empire of Morocco has been [ extended to Cape Bojador, 250 miles further south than Wady Draa, which Earl Granville, as Foreign Secretary, allowed to be declared as the southern Atlantic limit of Morocco. The concession being made by fiat has provoked comment in Europe to bhe effect that Lord Salisbury's intention is to prevent any other nation from obtaining a foothold on the African coast in that quarter, Refugees from Omdurman report ibat new earthworks are being erected around the city. Osman Digoa and the Emir Wad Drikeim, with a strong force of Dervishes, are stationed somewhere outside the city in the open country. A fight is expected on Thursday. The Anglo-Egyptian force has reached Wady Obeid, 18 miles from the Khalifa's advanced post at Ksrreri. They have occupied the camp jnst evacuated by the Dervishes. Bwarm?8 warm? of deserter* are arriving. It is believed that the Darvisbes will fight at Eerreri. Owing to a fearful dust storm General Kitchener was unable to make a reconnaisanoe of the enemy's position.
