Foxton Borough Council.
A special meeting of the Council was held on Saturday afternoon io consider the resignation of the Town Clerk. Present — Crs Westwood (chairman), Walsh, Hennessy, and Fraser. The specifications of the duties for Town Clerk were read and approvedt The following resolution was agreed to. Proposed by Cr Hennessy, seconded by Cr Fraser, That advertisements be published in the local paper and Evening Post for a new Town Clerk at once, and that the form of advertisement and specification of duties as drawn up be approved.
