Children's Ball.

» ' The children's ball, held lastThurs* day evening, was in every way a great success. There were close on two hundred children present, besides a number of their parents and friends. The hall was very nicely decorated by Masters Rhodes and Wright, who deserve special praise when their ages are taken into consideration. When the children started off in the Grand March, led by Miss Whyte and little Miss McMillan, the hall presented a very bright spectacle. Of the different costumes — varying so much in colour and design — it would be useless to attempt to give a full account, but the following are a few of those worn by the juveniles : — Guy Rhodes, Jack the Giant Killer ; Percy Wright, Knave of Hearts; Doris Cook, Summer; Rose Dudson, Flower Girl ; Vivian Wright, Page ; Jane Imrie, Wattle ; Ada Bradcock, Red, White and Blue; Walter Edwards, Clown ; L.
